Read Charles's bio
Charles Marchese’s roots in the cosmetic packaging industry go back long before the founding of ABA Packaging. His father, Leo Marchese, spent more than 30 years in the industry, and as a young boy, Charles remembers helping his father put together samples for customers. Those early experiences sparked a connection to the business that has stayed with him throughout his life.
In 1984, Charles became one of the original founders of ABA Packaging Corporation, representing the second generation of the Marchese family in the industry. Over the past four decades, he has helped grow ABA through strong relationships, industry knowledge, personal service, and a genuine passion for packaging.
Charles has always especially enjoyed the creative side of the business. Early in ABA’s history, he helped create one of the industry’s first color packaging catalogs, giving customers a new way to see and explore packaging possibilities. That same creativity and desire to keep ABA moving forward have remained an important part of his approach to the business.
His commitment to the industry also led him to serve as President of the Cosmetic Industry Buyers & Suppliers (CIBS) in 2010.
Above all, Charles believes ABA is about people. He cares deeply about his employees and their families and has always worked to create a company where people feel valued, supported, and part of the ABA family. Today, he remains actively involved, bringing the same creativity, passion, and commitment to customers and employees that have helped shape ABA Packaging for more than four decades.
